After a wonderful Advent Season and Christmas Break, we greet the New Year with energy and excitement for a number of upcoming Holy Rosary activities. The 23rd Annual Holy Rosary Gala will be held on Saturday, January 31. Tickets are on sale now, so call the Parish Office to purchase yours today! New this year, the auction will be run online at the event. See details at the bottom of this page regarding registering early. The auction includes the hand-made artwork of our students and many more amazing items!

Speaking of artwork, we have extended the deadline for the Spirit Wear artwork contest to January 21. Any student can submit original artwork to the PTO, who will pick the top 3 designs. Those selected will be voted on by the student body to determine the winning shirt design! The winner will be announced during Catholic Schools Week and will receive a $50 Scrip gift certificate and a free t-shirt with their winning design. See the enclosed flyer for complete guidelines.

Catholic Schools’ Week is also just around the corner (January 26-30), so stay tuned for more information about special ways we will celebrate the students, teachers and families that make Holy Rosary great!

Over the next few weeks, we will also be working on pre-registration forms and other details for the 2015-2016 school year. If you have an incoming Kindergarten student, please make plans to attend Kindergarten Round-Up on Thursday, January 29 at 7pm (see enclosed flyer for more details).

Weather Related Conditions and Emergencies

When the school day is canceled by the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation Holy Rosary’s school day will also be canceled.  When there is a change in the weather while classes are in session and the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation closes school early, Holy Rosary will also close school at the time the Evansville-Vanderburgh Schools are closing.  When the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation announces a delay, the school day at Holy Rosary will also be delayed.  After School Care will not operate if school closes before the end of the normal school day.  There will be no after-school activities at school if school is canceled.  The radio and television stations will broadcast school closings and delays.
