We’re Going Back to the Future!

All are welcome to join us in supporting the 20th Anniversary of our Holy Rosary Gala on February 4, 2012 at the newly renovated Old Post Office Place.  We will be honoring Bill & Ethel Forche and Bill & Kathy Potter for their long time support and dedication to Holy Rosary.  This year’s theme, “Back to the Future” celebrates the significance this primary fundraiser has been for our parish and school families these past 20 years.  On this evening, our parishioners, neighbors and friends will come together to celebrate, enjoy one another’s company and provide for Holy Rosary’s future!  You can be a part of the continued growth and mission of our church in a number of ways:

  1. Attend.
  2. Donate to Fund an Item.
  3. Donate an item for the live or silent auction (can be goods, scrip cards or services).  Do you have access to a vacation home or condo for a week or weekend?
  4. Do you own a business or work for a business who would like to advertise in the program?  As an added bonus, your ad will also be a part of a video presentation shown at the event.
  5. Get some friends together to form a table.
  6. All of the above.

This year’s Fund an Item will again focus on technology upgrades, including document cameras, LCD projectors and Ipad II for classroom use by students and staff.  Also, NEW this year is a Glimpse Into the Future Preview Party on Thursday, Jan. 19th, from 6-9PM in the newly renovated Parish Hall.  It is free with your Gala ticket and $5 without.  There will be sample Hors douerves and desserts from local caterers and childcare will be provided.  All Live Auction Items and Student Art Projects will be on display.  Also all Holy Rosary Parish, School, Totten Hall Pre-School and teacher items will be open for bidding and purchase that evening.  However, if an item doesn’t gain a respectable bid, it will be put on line for future bidding.  These items will not be taken to the Gala this year.  So, please join us for this fun opportunity to support our parish and school and celebrate the Gala’s 20th Anniversary.  Besides being a festive night of great food (Just Rennie’s), music and dancing (McFly), money generated will help us continue our mission and ministry into the FUTURE!  For more information contact Christine Gilles in the Parish Office at 477-8923 or cgilles@hrparish.org
